A friend works somewhere where they just bought their first solid works licence.

They have been told that they can swap the licence between PCs up to 900 times...

I never heard of this limit.

We have been swapping three licences randomly between four PCs. We even made each PC automatically release its licence on shutdown/reboot

My var knows this but never mentioned this 900 limit. Perhaps 3-4 years is forever to them...

I wont retire for at least another 5 years or I wouldn't care

...the VAR is actually the same as mine!

Anyone else heard of this 900 times hardware switch limit?
