I´m running SolidWorks 2018 on boot camp with an AMD Radeon R9 M370X and retina display, and suddenly my workspace stop showing, I can draw but is not showing what I'm doing if I resize the window everything appears but is gone again. I manage to use with OpenGL but is really laggy, I was wondering if this problem was generated from the meltdown & spectre patches because it was working.
In the first picture is how it looks ( is already on a new sketch with a circle drawn)
And this is after I resize the windows
Hi Jose,
This is probably not related to the Meltdown/Spectre patches. It is more likely related to your graphics card or driver. Have you applied any graphics card driver updates recently? Try using "Software OpenGL" to see if it helps. This can be enabled in "Tools-Options-System Options-Performance-Use Software OpenGL".
Best Regards,
John
As an aside, we do not officially support the bootcamp environment.
