Hello All,

My name is Dan C. Morgan III and I am a new user to Solidworks 2018. I've been primarily working with Autodesk Inventor up until now.

I'm wondering if there is a more straight forward approach to swapping out derived parts within another part???

I did managed to swap parts out by doing the good ol "renaming part files and link to another" when the system can't locate the original file name as a work around.

Any help in regards to this would be lovely.
