Good afternoon,
I have been racking my brains to try to understand why the drawings that a particular colleague produces look different to the rest of us.
It turns out that he flip-flops between using the Hole Wizard and not doing so, whilst the rest of us use it pretty much all the time.
I created a part with 2 blind 5mm holes, one using Hole Wizard and the other using an extruded cut.
I then created a drawing and created a Hole Callout for each hole.
The result is as shown:
Clearly, the extruded hole is being identified as a hole (otherwise I could not apply a hole callout), but is not using the Hole Callout Format file that the Hole Wizard holes do.
How are the callout formats for extruded holes compiled? Where does the definition reside? Can I edit the definition to make it resemble the callout we would prefer? Should I insist my colleague always uses Hole Wizard?
SW2017, SP5 (but it was the same in 2014 and 2016.
Cheers,
John
