why does my Solidworks toolbox hardware keep suppressing itself for no reason?

i have a large assembly file that i am using Solidworks toolbox hardware in and in most of its sub-assemblies as well. randomly for no reason some of the hardware will suppress in the top level and in its sub-assemblies. at which point i have to go through all of the models and unsuppress all the hardware. this happens to a lot of my models that use Solidworks toolbox hardware.

my question is has anybody had this problem and if so did you find a way to stop this from happening?
