Is there a way to pack and go an assembly and create a copy of the design binder with it?

When I pack and go an assembly, and go to the new file location, the assembly does have the design binder in it, but the files in the design binder refer to the same previous location, which seems to mean if I edit the original file (excel spreadsheet) all pack and go assemblies are affected.

My goal is to carry a spreadsheet with an assembly every time I pack and go, so if there is another method of doing that besides design binder, that would work too
