I downloaded "Working Man" part from GrabCAD and saved it in SW2017. I then put it into an assembly, all by itself.

If I import the Part file into Visualize 2018 SP1, the colors all show up correctly.

But, if I import the Assembly, only one color is imported.

I used group by Appearance for both. If I do Automatic for the Assembly, I still only get one color.

The part file has appearances applied to the surface features and not the surface bodies. Does that mean I will need to apply appearances to the surface bodies if I want to use this guy in an assembly? (I just tried that and copied the blue shirt appearance to the body part but new import is still one color.)

Is this a bug or my workflow?
