So I am at my wits end with the bloody program! It crashes often both on my laptop and PC and each time I lose valuable time and money. I can replicate the crashes easily and I want to know what is causing them and how I can fix them. One example is when working with sheetmetal, often if I open up a part and unsuppress one of the unfold commands it will crash. Is this due to my computers and should I look at upgrading my hardware to something specific i.e. Xeon processors with Quadro cards, or is this just Solidworks not working properly? I need to fix this otherwise I will have to look at using other software.
If the crash is reproducible, just record an Rx report and send it to your VAR. They should be able to determine the cause of the crash pretty fast.
