I received some inquiries from the customers on System Requirements for the SolidNetwork License Server.

And this is the answer from KB S-056027

Question: What is the Solidworks SolidNetWork License (SNL) server recommended hardware configuration?

Answer:

Currently, for a SolidWorks SNL server the recommended hardware configuration is not available on the SolidWorks website. But customers can reference the Enterprise PDM server recommended hardware configuration for the SolidWorks SNL server.

Usually, I just recommend customer to install the SNL server on their existing Server, but if the customer is a new startup or need to purchase hardware for a new department and has no " existing server ", what is the best recommendation?

I Googled and found this link , I guess the specificaiton described below should be applicable to SolidNetwork License Server as well.
