Do you have Inventor or Inventor View on the same computer as Solidworks?
What version of SolidWorks are you using?
What "Data" are you wanting to Open?
If you do not have Inventor or Inventor View on your system you will not be able to import Native Inventor files (unless you are using SolidWorks 2018).
We need more information from you.
