    Dispatch Check-In

    Adam Meyer
I'm trying to write a script to copy, then rename an assembly and all parts/drawings, while keeping the references. I have it working, but I'm getting an occasional error. What is happening is this: if a drawing is checked in first, then the part is also checked in. The script then tries to check in the part and I get an error. I need to check-in the parts before I rename them.

Is there a way for Dispatch to know if a file is already checked in?

          Hi Adam -

I think that what you are trying to do is ambitious and beyond the scope of Dispatch.
If this requires more than can be done via Copy Tree (RMB on an assembly to find the command) it may be better accomplished via the API.
