Hi,

I am setting up a simulation of a simple 100mm diameter aluminium bar x 544 long and would appreciate some help with the fixtures.

I have real world shaker data that I am trying to correlate to solidworks. 

When performing the vibration testing on the shaker table I have bolted the bar down so it is fixed in Z and am shaking it in the x direction only. Currently the data that I have collected shows a natural frequency at 180 Hz but in real life I hit a resonance at 85Hz. 

Also any damping ratio info for 6082-t6 Aluminium would be appreciated
