Urschel is the global leader in design and manufacture of precision high-speed size reduction machinery.  With over 50 models offered, all machines are made to exacting standards at our employee owned advanced manufacturing facility in Chesterton, Indiana.  We are seeking candidates for the position of Electrical Engineer.


Reporting to the Electrical Engineering Manager, the Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing electrical enclosures and control circuits for food processing equipment.  This will include developing prints and schematics as well as contributing to the testing, troubleshooting, and manufacturing of Urschel Machinery.  Additional responsibilities include working with vendors and providing technical support to in-house personnel and customers.


The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology.  Applicants must possess excellent communication talents, strong critical thinking and problem solving abilities, attention to detail, drafting skills, and proficiency with 3-D CAD software, preferably in Solidworks.
