Why do the 2 part assemblies not line up when they are mated
I got it figured out. Thanks
Can you be more specific on what you are asking? Please upload your assembly so we can see what your doing.
What version of SW are you using?
Solidworks 2017. I got it figured out
Can you please elaborate more on this? which type of mates you are using?
I have used coincident mate and width mate and both my parts are aligned.
Also check that both your parts are in float condition , by clicking right mouse button on both parts in feature manager tree.
This can be done with one mate if you have a newer version of SolidWorks by using the Profile Center mate on Advanced mate tab.
Please explain what issues you are having.
I got it figured out
Can you explain what you were doing that wouldn't let you correctly mate the parts and how you corrected it so that the people who responded to your question to try to help you can understand what you were doing that didn't work correctly?
This may also give someone else that is doing the same thing wrong the information they need to do it correctly.

I assume it's because you haven't mated them properly, but we can't tell for sure because you've only included the part files, and not your assembly attempt.
