When I click and right click it doesn't work right. Dragging keyframes around is a bit fussy also. My pen divers are up to date but acts very glitchy inside of the software. I use pen tool for all PC navigation and daily work, then pull out mouse when using Visualize.
The dream for the pen use would be mostly camera navigation and material use and model repositioning.
Hold Z for scrubby zoom
Hold space for panning
Hold X for rotating
Hold shift and tap for material paste (not right click but pen tap)
Hold W and drag anywhere to move model along Z
Hold A and drag anywhere to move model along X
Hold S and drag anywhere to move model along Y
Hmm, that's interesting. I've only used my digital pen (the last 15 years) for digital drawing and painting in Photoshop mostly. I'm wanting to get my hands on some 3Dconnexion products for working in 3D applications like Blender and Maya. I was thinking a SpaceMouse Pro might be the thing in Visualize too.
I´m using a Wacom Intuos together with the space navigator. The pen for selecting and assigning material, changing values and the mouse for navigation.Wacom has announced a new Pro Pen 3D.It should be possible to customize 3 buttons, e.g. for rotation, zoom etc.
I have been using an Intuos4 and SpaceNavigator for years. It worked fine until I switched to a Win10 laptop. Now in sketches I draw points instead of selecting points and other errors. I download the latest driver often and have a SW specific app setting in the wacom properties but nothing changes. I end up gong back to the mouse and my wrist can't take it.
I am using a HUION pen. It is a knockoff Wacam. I think I just need to bite the bullet and buy an Intous. It is good to hear that it is just my tablet and everyone else is just fine with their set up.
Hi Chris,
At work I have a Win 7 workstation with a Wacom Bamboo on it. I tested it out in Visualize Standard and it seems to work as one would expect. I don't have a Wacom on my hot rod Win 10 workstation that I run my Visualize Pro license on.
On my Win 10 video production and graphics workstation I have a Wacom Intuos, but no Visualize to test with.
What specifically are wanting to do if you don't mind me asking? As a big time Wacom user in the world of Adobe, I didn't think there was much use in Visualize. You've got my curiosity up.
