When two objects are in contact, we know that it isn't 100% contact. Does FloEFD take this into consideration?
If it doesn't how do you know if results are accurate when something like this has a big impact in the real world?
Perfect contact is assumed unless you specify a contact resistance. Most people do a simple 1D hand calc and explore what the effect of various contact resistances are in the big scheme of things. The exercise is helpful in in getting a feel for when the contact resistance is worth modeling in detail and what values of resistance have an impact.
