There is no intersect surfaces, so what is the best way to trim surfaces and make them intersect?
Just took a quick look and I'm not sure what section you want to trim
By the way, if I understand correctly what you want to do from your model, why don't you extend the surface instead of adding extra one and try to trim it?
What surfaces are you trying to trim? You can use the extend surface command, or extrude surface then knit to combine them. Hard to tell what you are trying to accomplish
So I trimmed it first then extruded the surface and this works
Travis, there really is no easy way to do this one. I had to do a series of split lines, delete faces, a surface offset and a loft. I would send you the file but it is a 2017 version so all I got for you is a screen shot.
The first split line is a silhouette split from plane 3. I then used that split to convert the sketch for surface extrude6. If you need more details PM me, I will help you out the best I can.
Thanks that's the only way I could get it work too. I guess I just need to learn to split it first then do the extrusions.
