Simulation of a rubber, contact is penetrating in spite of inadmissible conctact

Hi there,


I am simulating a rubber, which is formed as a ring. The ring is oppressed by a peace of metal which has nearly the radius of the rubber-ring. (exactly the radius of the ring ist a Little bit smaller than the radius of the metal). See the following pictures.

Also you can see the bearings here. The metal is moving 0,95 mm in the direction you can see in the picture below.

The contact between rubber and metal is "no penetration".

Nevertheless i have a Penetration of the two parts.

My analysis time is 0,0657 s and my time step is 0,0001 s. I use the Direct Sparse Solver.


I use a quarter-model to reduce my time of calculation. Therefore i used the friction-free fixation.


If anyone seems to have an idea, i will be thankful for any comment. If you Need the complete model i could send them as a private message.
