I have a model which is drawn by using sheet metal. But when I am going for development length for that model with the help of Flat-pattern. It gets develop excluding form tool shape..so actually I want total whole development area..pls. help

Hello,
In Manage Equations, create global variables that compute the flat pattern width by totalling the three sections (I assuming what's to the right, out of view, is symmetric to what's shown).
Using your k-factor, inner radius and thickness:
In your equations, be sure to reference all dimensions that you can so your calculations update according to your model.
Ujnfortunately in sheet metal, there are some data that are not accessible in Manage Equations, so you will have to hard coded these (as global variables) and maintain their values manually.
If you're not certain on how calculate the flat pattern, search help for "bend allowance"
Scroll down and you'll see this image:
You're calculating the arc length of the neutral plane (where there's neither compression nor tension) which is what the "Bend Allowance" leader is pointing to.
Adding this arc length to the unbent sections and you'll get your flat pattern's size.
Cheers,
Kevin
