I want to extend surfaces creating its own surface and not making it part of the surface I am extending from. Can this be Done?
I don't work with surfaces much, but I believe you'll need to either create the extension as a seperate surface, or extend the existing surface and cut it.
Try using Ruled Surface option to extend and create as separate surface else create a 0 offset, extend and delete the faces which are not required.
Use Ruled Surface. I think that will get you what you want.
Or a way to make the un-trim its own surface?
