I coped my w-beam and it's 90 degrees, how do I cope it with a radius? I used the indent command to do the cope.
You could create a Block and use that in your cut sketch or just add a radius..
I believe you'll need to add the radius as a separate feature.
Thanks Glen, I actually just tried to use fillet and it worked.
Try library feature....
I would use a sketch to cut extrude and would include the radius and chamfer in same feature.
for some reason my feature command from my insert pulldown is missing?

That's because you're in an Assembly. You only get those options in a Part.
ok, for some reason I thought I did it in an assembly. Thanks
so the one I didn't delete seems to indicate that I did do the indent in the assembly?

Yes, you can use the Indent feature in an Assembly to use one Part to remove material from another one, but you have to be in Edit Part mode, so it's still not an Assembly feature.
thanks Glen, this was driving me nuts that I couldn't remember.
anyways I'll just ask how do I cope these two beams in an assembly? I did it before with no issues a week and a half ago but I had to delete them and now I have no clue why or how I can't do the same thing.
Tim Muir - You have to "Edit" the component, which you can do while you're working in the assembly level.....
