I believe you'll need to add the radius as a separate feature.

Try library feature....
I would use a sketch to cut extrude and would include the radius and chamfer in same feature.

That's because you're in an Assembly. You only get those options in a Part.

Yes, you can use the Indent feature in an Assembly to use one Part to remove material from another one, but you have to be in Edit Part mode, so it's still not an Assembly feature.
thanks Glen, this was driving me nuts that I couldn't remember.
anyways I'll just ask how do I cope these two beams in an assembly? I did it before with no issues a week and a half ago but I had to delete them and now I have no clue why or how I can't do the same thing.
Tim Muir - You have to "Edit" the component, which you can do while you're working in the assembly level.....
