I am having trouble installing SolidWorks. We have a site license and I copied the installation files to my local computer. I also tried installing from the network drive and got the same error.

We previously had an older version of SolidWorks (with the Electrical add-on) on this computer which I uninstalled to update and I did not remove the registry entries (to keep the serial numbers).

I get the following error when attempting to install and the installation will not continue:

SOLIDWORKS Electrical is unable to connect to the SQL Server.
