By default, the items in a BOM will appear in the order they were inserted into the Assembly. However, you can drag the rows up and down as you want, or you can right-click at the top of a column and choose "Sort", which will allow you to sort the BOM by several criteria that you can choose from. ppt is a power point type file and pdf is a adobe portable document format,
Practically I proceed to suppress and unsupported step by step some parts components inside of a top assembly on feature tree in assembly model after this many of the balloons disappear, I succeed to set back, but many of them change the item number and I would like the items in a BOM will appear in the order they were inserted into the Assembly, but how I will set the criteria in sort settings for that....thank you.
Thank you. I know what a pdf is, I just couldn't figure out what it had to do with your question. Checking the box shown below should cause the BOM to follow the order the components were inserted into the Assembly.
