If you're looking for help you need to be more specific.
What is the error message that you're receiving, some images, and if possible attaching your file here to be able to find out what can be the reason.
It makes sense, because you can do something similar with lofts - I'm still in shock, something that I should know about, and if I ever did know about it, I forgot it, and overwrote that memory space multiple times, because it was GONE!
Cool stuff, Thanks Dennis!

That . . . is . . . so . . . cool . . . How did I not know about that?!?
That is the problem with being a creature of habit.
You aren't the only one that learned something new today. I also thought you needed two sketches.
THIS IS WHY WE ARE HERE - I'm sure that Dennis thought it was a "throwaway tip" and probably that everyone already knew it!
So glad he shared!

You're asking for testimonials in the other thread. I believe you just found one.

This is new for SW 2017:
I've been racking my brain trying to figure why that was so apparent. I suspect that it has something to do with working with sheet metal features so much. That is a memory space that hasn't be overwritten... YET!!!
The select loop (although not necessary in this case) comes in incredibly handy in many circumstances (when things aren't tangent). Saves tons of time

hate to rain on your parade, but the new thing in 2017 was to be able to select edges/faces for the PROFILE, not the path. using them for the path has been around for a while.
Sure . . . I left my umbrella at home, the parade was cancelled, and now I am back to kicking myself!
This is probably worse than the time that I forgot about using Tab to hide components/bodies . . .
(Something deep inside said that it had been around for a while, and that I had completely forgotten about it, but I couldn't piece it together.)
I thought the worst part about getting older was the creaking of the bones . . .
It would be easier to help you if you would attach the file.
