I have to blocks settled on each other, and I would like to know the force that could push them off each other. If I add mates to make them on top of each other, the force would move both of them. How can I tell solidworks that they are different bodies but attached to each other, so I could find the force to separate them?

I could not attach the assembly here, but here is a snip of it. I have all the blocks fully mated on top of each other, with the rail shown being fixed to the floor. I want to find the force that, if applied on the middle set of blocks, would separate it from the blocks above and below it.

I told you what my intention is, it is to push the middle blocks and see the force needed to separate the blocks with the bottom rail fixed to the ground.
Note: the blocks do have an internal force between their pins since they are squeezed in like lego blocks.

You can suppress all mates in Motion Manager.
You have to define contacts between all components.
Then assign Gravity and a linear Motor on block you want to move.
Then you can plot Motor force to get force required.

If i do this a very small displacement will lead to the collapse of the block. the blocks are connected like lego blocks so there are forces exerted by the pins and cavities of each block to hold them, maybe the motion analysis is not considering this? Because even though i put contact and gravity, the block fell at a small force which is not logical

i have one more question, how does the motion analysis know that the rail on the bottom is fixed to the ground? I couldn’t figure this out from the snaps.

You have to Right click on Part in Feature Manager and Select "Fix" command.
letter "f" in-front of part indicate that part is fixed.
You can see that "f" in-front of bottom rail in images.

Did you think the answer obtained is logical providing the material used is plastic?

I didn't used "Plastic". In contact definition, I used "Steel dry".
You can setup a study with properties of Plastic. Also, remember that SOLIWORKS Motion is a rigid body solver, so it will not consider squeezing.
You can calculate deformation of material using nonlinear dynamic solution and provide it to solver in Contact Properties (Uncheck Material Option, scroll down > penetration).

So if I want it to consider the squeezing between the blocks and the fact that they are squeezed together, how can I do it?
I tried to do what you did, making the material contact acrylic, but the study is not calculating. Is it only slow or is there a problem?
It is slow. It took more than 15 hours(May be more, I let it run over weekend) on my machine. You can decrease calculation time by decreasing number of contact pairs. Define contact pairs manually(Select only those components in a contact set which touch each other) or reduce number of components.
