In the Assembly file, Main Part is disappearing after placing the 2nd part. To bring the Main part back I have to click “Hide All Types” two times. How to fix it?
Fair enough. You are right in fact. I tried this and I could reproduce the issue with a supported setup. I did some further troubleshooting and found that I could reliably repeat the issue with the Body part as it was. If I rolled back before the Boss-Extrude features I could not repeat the issue. So it appears that the extruded features are merged with the sheet metal part and that caused an issue. I wouldn't say this is best practice anyway, they should be treated as separate bodies. When I fixed this issue and made the hinge pieces separate bodes I couldn't repeat the issue again.
Clicking Hide All Types twice is merely toggling that option on and off.
Have you tried Ctrl Q to force rebuild?
What graphics card are you using?
Ctrl Q is bring back but it seems a temporary solution but not a permanent one.
Maha Nadarasa, A permanent solution may be to install an approved graphics card & driver, or at least try different drivers for the non-a[[roved card you are using.
If Habib Ghalamkari can fix the issue with approved graphics card & driver, I can try one.
Do you know what type of graphic card can fix into the same slot that fixed in NVIDIA GeForce GTX 745? I tried to find out this from the company but no reply to my email.
The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 745 is a PCIe board, so any PCIe board should fit.
However, if that card is OK for all or most other aspects of SOLIDWORKS, I would not bother to replace it, but if you do, any of the cards approved for a desktop PC should be OK.
Check here Graphics Card Drivers | Hardware & System Requirements | SOLIDWORKS
I have the exact same problem with 2018 when I insert a part in an assembly.
Habib Ghalamkari, you have an approved graphics card, but is the driver approved?
It should be one of these

yes, it's approved.
Are you in Section View with the part behind the section plane?
No no not at all. I know in a section view if you move the arrow in a certain direction you can make the part invisible.
Can you please provide the 3 files in question? (assembly + both part files) so we could try recreate the issue?
It might help to narrow down whether it is your machine or not.
Here are the files
I tried it on my machine and had no problem. It opened ok straight away, then I deleted the door and tried to reinsert it, no display issues.
So that should give you more confidence that it is an issue with your machine, so as previous responses have said perhaps try different graphics card drivers or change the graphics card for a supported one (Since it is a graphics issue).
You could try bypass the graphics card to see if you can view it correctly. To do this (with no files open in SWX) go to Tools > Options > System Options > Performance > Use software OpenGL.
I prefer if you do this in this way. Delete all my assembly file and open a new assembly file insert two parts and see the result. This way you can ensure the issue. Because I have found this issue with opening of a new assembly file.
Thanks for your help.
