No "favorite" icons (stars) in hole wizard feature manager

    James Weller

I am trying to save a countersink as a favorite as I use it quite often.

Every thing I read about saving a hole wizard feature refers to clicking on a "favorites" icon in the hole wizard feature manager.

I have no favorites stars showing as you can see in the screenshot.

I have selected to "Show Favorites" in the design tree but still nothing.

Running SW 2017 sp 0 (can't upgrade to sp 5)

      Any help much appreciated.

      Thanks

          James,

I don't know why yours isn't showing favorites. As you can see mine does.

I'm running 2017 SP5.0 but the favorites have been there as long as I can remember.

This is from 2016 SP 5.0

As you can see the favorites were there as well.

Wish I could help more but at least you know that the favorites should be there in 2017 SP 0.

            Hi James,

You have the legacy hole type selected and as documented in the help topic below (in the last section under Favorite Name), it indicates that Favorites are not supported for legacy hole types. If you make your countersink hole using the countersink hole button (middle one in the top row), then you can save it as a favorite.
