hello everyone,
This seems pretty basic, but i cant get it.. I am creating a surface loft on two intersecting profiles. I cant figure out why the loft on the one end will not match up with the sketch profile. See scn shot. It is not an image quality issue.
Hey Ryan, is there any chance you can upload the part? Lofts can be tricky you may need more guide curves, you could also try boundary surfaces and then knit surfaces to a solid. Also in my experience having the same amount of line segments on each sketch helps greatly. If you have a spline make sure there is the same amount of points on each spline.
Hi Dustin, I tried modeling something that I could upload, but I wasnt able to duplicate the issue.. looking into what the difference is.
Without seeing your model, it's hard to trouble shooting the issue?
Hey Dustin, it ended up being the number of points that my spline had. It seems to map better after I started splitting the spline at center points. Thanks for the help.
No problem, lofts are a constant battle for me. I'm glad you got it figured out.
