Our current environment is using Solidworks 2015 SP3. Is it possible to install explorer after the fact? I tried to go to Add/Remove program but it only gives me an uninstall option not repair/change. Has anyone else run into this?
Run the SolidWorks Install program again from the install disks. Do not go through Windows Add/Remove programs.
It will not let me choose "individual install", it may of been install as an administrative image. Does this matter?
if this is case you'll have to edit the original image to include Explorer.
If you install through the folder in the install media, this should still work
Yes, it could be an issue. You need to talk to your IT folks or whoever did the install.
you can even do this directly from the installation media. In the folder swexplorer, there is a file called "setup". This will install just SOLIDWORKS explorer.
