I'm trying to bring a pcb that I've drawn in Solidworks into Circuitworks. Here are my steps:
Draw a simple sketch outline in Solidworks
Extrude it to my board thickness & save it
Export it from SW to CW using the "Export to Circuitworks" command.
The Circuitworks program opens and I get a message that there are no suitable sketches found. Nothing appears in Circuitworks.
What am I missing here? Is it possible to get a board outline into an idf file using Circuitworks?
