Hi,

I am new to Solidworks Electrical and need some help.

I am trying to route wires in an assembly and so far I have gone through following steps (after learning these from various tutorials on youtube):

1. Creating manufacturer parts and associated symbols along with 3d parts.

2. Creating line diagram
3. Creating multi line schemmatics

Now when I open up the Solidworks module with Electrical 3D active. I don't see the "Electrical Component Tree" which is usually located in one of the tabs in Feature manager tree. on Electrical 3D tab all the buttons are inactive. I don't understand what is happening here and I am not able to route the wires.

Any who can help me with this problem?
