Shrinking (by Acid Etching) a Part

Hi Guys,

I have a requirement to shrink a part by means of acid etching.  This is fine in reality - its something we do all the time with the nature of our business.  My issue is being able to replicate this in solidworks.

It does not appear to be the same as solidworks 'Scale' feature.  Acid etch takes an exact amount off each face (so 0.1 is removed from all faces)  With 'scale' a % is removed and it will take more from some faces than from others.

Is there a feature in solidworks that can do what I am trying to achieve?

I am a self taught user and I may have missed it somewhere.  I thought 'Offset' was a possibility but it did not seem to give the correct result.

The part is a solid body with no internal features and therefore I have no issue with holes/threads growing.
