Am I right in understanding that there's no Evaluation Option to check the interference in a Part? It's possible for assemblies, so why not multibody parts?
I just found this strange when I went to check there so it would be nice if someone could tell me why.
I haven't a clue how this would be done in a multi-part but I'd start with colors for the different bodies and do section views to check.

I don't know why that function isn't available, but you could use the Combine > Common tool as a temporary workaround.
You could also switch to Wireframe mode to do a visual inspection.
Or just select one of the bodies to see the outline

It is basically what Kelvin Lamport already stated.

The only issue with this is that, if you wanted to run it between every possible body, then the number of times you would have to do this would increase exponentially (assuming that all bodies are near each other.... ):
if you have 3 bodies (A, B, C), you would have to do this 3 times (A to B, A to C, B to C).
If you have 4, then you would have to do it 6 times
If you have 5, then 10
If you have 6, then 15
If you have 7, then 21
Etc...
Once you get past 3 bodies....it might be easier to save out the bodes to separate parts, add them all to an assembly (just drop them in so they are all fixed) and run the interference detection.
Alternatively, you could set up configuration to have all bodies suppressed except 1 and then add the part multiple times to the same assembly and just fix it in place each time and then show each configuration.

I did think that process was a Little strange earlier today. I typed in "@Dan" and your Name didn't come up to link to. It also said you have Zero Points when I hovered over your Name. Therefore I thought SolidWorks had crashed again.

If the interference tool can be used on multibody parts in assemblies, then why can't it be used in parts?
