Re: In solidworks visualize can animations be generated with 3D people models?
Scott Ellery Nov 24, 2017 12:59 PM (in response to Jessica Alejandra Avila Figueroa)Animations can be created with any 3D models using SOLIDWORKS Visualize ,
in fact you can do all the animating in SOLIDWORKS with a motion study and import in the animation without the need to manually keyframe anything.

Jessica Alejandra Avila Figueroa Nov 26, 2017 7:45 AM (in response to Scott Ellery)Thank you, Scott. Do you know any tutorial or web page that can help me to create an animation with 3D people models?

Chris Dordoni Nov 26, 2017 11:21 AM (in response to Jessica Alejandra Avila Figueroa)Do you want the people to move ... like walking?

Re: In solidworks visualize can animations be generated with 3D people models?
Ron Bates Nov 27, 2017 8:23 AM (in response to Jessica Alejandra Avila Figueroa)Realistic/convincing animation of biped (or quadruped) requires a complete "character rigging" system...AND soft body deformations. Neither of which is supported by SOLIDWORKS or Visualize.
So while you could technically achieve an animation of a person walking or running, I'm afraid if you rely on manually key-framing in SW (based on mating conditions of a human model), your results will look quite robotic at the very best...and since there is no actual soft body deformation, there will be no realistic skinning (ie stretching of skin at joints).
Realistic/convincing animation of characters is quite a specialized workflow.
