Hi all,
I haven't used Solidworks in the last few months, so I am rusty with the tools. I want to produce the part shown in the picture (apologies if my sketches are unclear. I can provide more detail upon request). I'm prototyping some cable routing methods, so I want to 3D print this piece and see if it works the way I want it to.
I'm having a hell of a time trying to get the mouth widening cut to work. I want a smooth transition into the small hole in the cylinder so no stress concentrations arise. I've tried doing a lofted cut, but haven't been successful.
Could one of you SW gurus provide a part so I can see how to create it. I don't care about dimensions, as long as it resembles what I've drawn.
Thanks for your help!!!!
Hi Gavin,
Is this for a school project or something?
Attach your files of what you have created so far and people will give you guidance from there but I doubt very much that you will find somebody that is just going to do the whole thing for you and then just let you modify it's dimensions.
We are more than happy to help, but show us what you have to start with please...........
Dave.
