I want the dimension to read 15°±5’. I set my angle dimension to deg, min. I dimension the angle and try to set the tolerance to 5 but I get 15°0’±0’5’. Is there any way to get this to what I want? SWX 2017.
Thanks
Paul

I believe the standard is to never omit the 0°. And I believe the reason is that the mark is so small that it can easily lead to mis-reading. You can also not set it to show 0°5" for the same reason. If there is one number, always degrees. 2 numbers, always degrees and minutes. 3 numbers, always deg-min-sec.
Thank you for the response. I thought it might be a standard thing but I wanted it to match some other drawings we have. I also found a place to turn off the extra 0's. Options; Document Properties: Dimensions; Angle; at bottom of dialog box is option to remove units with 0 value for deg/min and deg/min/sec. Checking this box gave me the results I was looking for.
Thank you all
