Ok, let me explain the reason for the question before I officially ask it.

I have a model (either part or assembly), in which I updated the standard views using the "Update Standard View" fuction:

For this assembly, I made a particular view the "Front" view.

Then I go to a drawing and select "update" to make sure that the new view orientations are populated into the palette.

When I see the palette, I see this:

So, here is my question:

Why are the original views even showing up in the palette?

It doesn't seem to happen ALL the time, although in my testing just now, I tried it 5 times on 5 different parts (once each) and they all showed up this way.
