I've designed a dozen or so brackets that need to have some text machined on them. We're using EZ-Cam on the shop floor.

If I make an extruded cut with font, EZ Cam creates a pocket. This adds a lot of machining time. If I change the font to OLFSimpleSansOS, a stick font, Solidworks can't extrude it, nor thin feature it. If I leave the font as just a sketch, I can't get EZ Cam to see it.

Ideas on how to either make the sketch into a 2d feature, or how to make EZ CAM see the sketch?

Thanks guys!
