I have a dynamic rod hanger assembly in which the hanger is attached to a rod with a spherical shoulder bolt with a slot at the top of the hanger so that it may pivot from side to side but not front to back.

I am wondering if there is any way to constrain / mate the assembly so that the the rod can only pivot within the boundaries of the part slot. I read something about SW2009 having this capability but my company uses SW2008.

Anyone have any ideas?
