I have a multibody part that I then insert each body into it's own part. Seems that hole wizard data isn't retained though as drawings just reference the hole size. Any work around for this?

Because for this part in particular I found it to be much easier to make a multibody part rather than creating multiple parts in an assembly.

I understand that, but you may have misunderstood my question. Why break it down into separate Parts for the Assembly? I've been using multi-body Parts for years and have never had a need to do so.
In any case, if you have a real need to break down the Part into separate Parts I'd suggest deleting the Hole Wizard feature from the Part and do it in the Assembly instead, making sure you set it to apply at the Part level (see #19 at Frequently Asked Forum Questions if you're not familiar with doing that).
I'm not breaking it down for an assembly. I'm breaking it down for the drawing so I can detail each body as it's own part.
As of now, I am putting custom hole wizard sizing on the multibody part, then overriding it with the real size for the derived body/part,

In that case you certainly don't need to break it down. See the screenshot below from Frequently Asked Forum Questions.
May I ask why you're breaking it down into multiple Parts? That will likely help find answers.
