I recently upgraded our CAD users to SW 2018 Pro. I use the edrawings viewer for all other users outside of engineering. I had to upgrade their edrawings to 2018 so they could pull up our new drawings. But when I go to pull up a drawing, it asks every time now to install the document manager. I do, using the link it provides, but it installs 2017 document manager and it just won't see it. I can get the drawings to pull up by clicking I will install later, but it badgers you every time to install it as if you don't have it on the machine. I am getting call after call. I cannot find a fix anywhere.
When you do a complete download for a SolidWorks installation it is in a seperate folder in the download:
\SOLIDWORKS 2018 SP0.1\swdocmgr
Or you can download manually via customerportal.solidworks.com
SOLIDWORKS Document Manager API SDK
