Yes, Maha... Use the Copy Settings Wizard prior to performing a "new" upgrade installation. Then you can restore your old command bar, menus, and settings.
And also settings automatically carry forward from one release to the next if you are using the same user account on the same machine.

However if you've used the Copy Settings Wizard and keep track of where you're storing the .sldreg file it outputs, you can make a copy of the file and use it to restore your settings in the new installation.

Maha,If you use the copy setting wizard, it also stores where your custom templates, weldments, search directories, etc, etc are. That way you can do a clean install, wiping all trace of the old SW install, re-install, run copy setting wizard>restore, and you're back up and running.
