Converting an assembly .slddrw to autocad .dwg and preserving individual parts

I am able to convert a solidworks assembly drawing to an autocad 2d dwg by using the "save as" option.  I want to know if there is any way to keep the individual parts "grouped" instead of exploding and becoming random lines, arcs, circles, etc.  I am new to solidworks with experience using Inventor. When converting an Inventor Assembly drawing to an AutoCAD 2d drawing, I had the option of bringing in the parts "grouped".  I know they are both Autodesk programs which probably is the reason they can be grouped.  I would love to hear that solidworks also has this function but not holding my breath.  Back when I was using Inventor, my autocad was the full blown version....now I only have AutoCAD Lt.

Thanks,

Diana
