Check the thickness value in your pcb design software. Our guys who used Cadence didn't ever set the Z value and when I tried importing a PCB assy once all the components were Z= 500mm

Also, I just discovered that even though the 'Thickness' property of the "Board Extrusion" feature is read only, the thickness values of each Layer are adjustable. It's not ideal, but at least I can correct the board thickness. In my case, I don't have much influence over the files I get to import.
Me too. The default pcb thickness is 3.349mm [0.132 in], which isn't correct. I'm not sure if the problem is my CircuitWorks setup, or that the PCB guy has an incorrect property in the *.ASC file that I'm importing. I'd love to know if there's a place that I can override this default thickness. Changing it manually after the fact is a pain.
