Thank you. Have you read that xxx.err file? I could not find that file. I wonder what it is.

I get the .err file,.. and after further review, the stp on their site is truncated.. that is,if you open up the stp in a text editor, it stops at entity #2160... so, if I open the other step file as a txt file (btw, the other step Dennis suggested reads without any issue, I'll attach the assembly here) it looks to be the same file... and if I copy/paste remaining lines from #2106 to the end of the file (image attached)... it imports without any problems.... so, the stp file (from SW 2009) on their site is truncated.
Hey, Paul.. I had done the same thing. Had the files (as text) opened in two windows and was comparing them. I just hadn't looked as far down as you. You are right. It does appear to be the same file. Just one of them had not completed the export from SW 2009 (if I remember correctly).

I also get the same error. I accidentally downloaded the a8064chnfss (without the 6) file and it opened fine. It looks as though, from the data sheets, that the only difference is one is 304 sst and the other is 316L.
