Balloon options don't activate when changed by macro

Question asked by John Vincent on Nov 7, 2017

I am working with SolidWorks 2016. I have a macro which works on cutlist and custom properties. At the end it changes several ballooning options. However, after the macro is run, the changes do not take effect. I can verify that the changes have been made in the Options > Document Properties window, but they do not take effect. I've tried closing and re-opening the drawing as well as restarting SolidWorks. The only way I've gotten the changed properties to take effect is to go in and set them (to the values they are already set to) manually. Has anyone else had this problem or have any idea how to fix it?
