So you mean to say direct design table cell can't be linked to general table. We have to import cell data from design table to custom property first and then that custom property can be linked to general table. am i right?
A custom property remains a custom property and can be used anywhere you link it to. Also a General Table is similar to a BOM, so it will depend all on the call - such as $PRP:"Description"

Yeah, but problem with this kind of table is re-sizing to show only the area you want.
When editing the DT if you forget to re-size it at the end then the inserted drawing DT will automatically re-size to the size it was before closing.
I forget something, an unwonted result may occur...
