What is the best way to handle 'typical' details.... those details that are common across views or models?
We use several typical connections in our designs that never change. In Autocad we simply kept a separate file of each and blocked them in to our drawings.
I am a new SW user, but right now I can think of several ways to handle this:
Completely model one connection in each model and fully detail it each time.
Import our current 2D drawings onto a detail sheet, somehow.
Create 3D versions of each of the details and keep them in a Design Library.
What's the best way to handle this?
Thanks in advance
I would create 2d blocks for them and put in library. And would add to drawings as and when needed.
