I am aware that SW will import Creo files. Alas, the PVZ extension isn't in the list of importable options.
But, I have of course tried anyway. It doesn't work.!
Alas, I can only mark one as correct.
That said, extracting info from it via its measure tool is indeed arduous. I now really appreciate SW zoom, pan & measure abilities a lot more..
We work with a customer who uses creo. Native PVZ files from the vendor will be viewable using the Creo viewer, but much like e-drawings are useless for importing. I got excited at the prospect of the 3d interconnect option available in Solidworks for importing Creo files, but he PVZ files we have access to are just viewer models only as far as I have been able to work out.
If it's the equivalent of an Edrawings file you won't get any solids. Display data only.
