I need to check in files that were checked out by others.
The computers they were checked out on are no longer available.
I have admin privileges and am not worried about the changes that were made.
Please advise process.

Thomas,
Unfortunately PDM locks the file not only to a username, but machine ID as well. So if the machine is no longer accessible, a password reset would not work, leaving "Undo Checkout" the only option. However if the machine was still avail, you could reset the users password and just check them in under their username.
Hi Jerry, you need to login to a Vault view as the Admin user then you can right click on those files and perform a Undo Checkout.
Kind regards
Prasad
Thank you Prasad.
I have one problem, we use the Active Directory to logon to computers and corporate does not want to give me a logon that matches to PDM Admin account.
Do you know of a way that I can logon to the computer with my account then logon to the vault view with the Admin account?
Open Administration tool
Go to Settings, down on the left-hand side.
Select your vault from the drop-down menu
Uncheck "Use server default"
Click OK.
Log out of the vault.
Now you will be prompted with a logon window when accessing the vault, and you can type in the Admin username and password.
As told by Prasad Bhonsule "Undo Check out" is the best option in such case and you can do it on any client computer having the required privileges.
Could it be an idea to reset their password, and login with their "new" credentials?
